Flaevre Vlioxu invoice due date calculator
The Flaevre Vlioxu tool works out the day an invoice becomes due for payment. Set the invoice date and choose the terms, and the due date is shown instantly.
The calculator works inside your browser and does not send the dates you enter.
How the due date is worked out
Payment terms normally run in calendar days from the day the invoice is dated. Take an invoice dated March 1 on Net 30: it is due on March 31. Unless the contract states otherwise, weekends and holidays are counted like any other day.
Common payment terms
- Due on receipt: payment falls due on the same day the invoice is dated.
- Net 7, Net 10, Net 15: the due date is 7, 10 or 15 days after the date on the invoice.
- Net 30: payment is due 30 days after the invoice date, a term used by many businesses.
- Net 45, Net 60, Net 90: the invoice is due 45, 60 or 90 days after it is dated.
- EOM (end of month): the invoice is due on the final day of the month it is dated in.
- Net 30 EOM: payment is due 30 days after the end of the month in which the invoice is dated.
EOM wording is not used the same way by everyone, so it is worth checking your agreement.
If the due date is a Saturday or Sunday
Some businesses treat the next working day as the due date when it lands on a Saturday or Sunday. Switch on the weekend option and a Saturday or Sunday due date moves to Monday.
